Superstar Showdown – part 2: Daniel Negreanu hungry for revenge
On Sunday it’s once again time for Viktor “Isildur1″ Blom and Daniel Negreanu to sit down with $150,000 each at four $50/$100 No Limit Holdem tables and play 2,500 hands (or until someone has lost his entire bankroll). What can we expect from this match? Daniel Negreanu, who lost the previous match in just 1439 hands and wrote on twitter that he was extremely unlucky, is very hungry for revenge and probably better prepared this time.
Viktor “Isildur1″ Blom has been playing extremely good since the win last Sunday and with the confident he has right now he will be a tough opponent for Negreanu – even if the poker gods side with him this time.

Andrew ‘azntracker’ Li hits SuperNova Elite in two months
Move over Phil Laak, because I have a feeling that during the last 59 days Andrew Li -better known as ‘azntracker’ at the PokerStars online poker table-may have bested your record of 115 straight hours of poker! The reason I say this is because Li has just set the record for the fastest person to attain Supernova Elite at PokerStars -managing the feat in just 2 months!
Li surpassed the 1,000,000 VPP threshold needed to achieve Supernova Elite on February 28th, besting the old record by 19 days -the previous mark was set by George ‘jorj95′ Lind who achieved Supernova Elite on march 18. Amazing
LAPC: WPT Invitational Weekend – Bryan Devonshire
I ended up getting food at North Woods Inn, my all time favorite restaurant. Came back to play 100-200 stud and ran badly, losing somewhere over $3k. Game was great but lots of my two pairs lost and my only three of a kind or better was folded (correctly) on 7th street.
Saturday was the WPT Invitational day, always an excellent time. I had to drive to my Mom’s place to pick up my dress shoes I left there after waking up, spent the afternoon playing online and drinking wine, and met up with a bunch of the cool kids to pre party.
