Andrew ‘azntracker’ Li hits SuperNova Elite in two months
Move over Phil Laak, because I have a feeling that during the last 59 days Andrew Li -better known as ‘azntracker’ at the PokerStars online poker table-may have bested your record of 115 straight hours of poker! The reason I say this is because Li has just set the record for the fastest person to attain Supernova Elite at PokerStars -managing the feat in just 2 months!
Li surpassed the 1,000,000 VPP threshold needed to achieve Supernova Elite on February 28th, besting the old record by 19 days -the previous mark was set by George ‘jorj95′ Lind who achieved Supernova Elite on march 18. Amazingly, Li only played 50 of the 59 days it took him to reach Supernova Elite, so he actually could have done it even faster… So I’m certain a number of other young guns are plotting how they will tackle this feat in 2012.
Although after reading Li’s blog they may rethink that, especially the following excerpt:
“No matter how bad you think the variance can be, it can always go at least one more level above your head. Never before had I played 300+ SNGs in a day and close to 500. That amount of volume is equivalent to probably 3 or 4 of my “old” sessions, which were already pretty long sessions in themselves. I went through the ups and downs of that many sessions in just one, and as such, I also went through the variance of multiple sessions every day. I did not know it was possible to just flat out lose 80-90% of games for hundreds of games, but I sure found out haha”
Li posted on his blog that, “I believe this is my most impressive poker achievement so far and I am most proud of this. It’s been 59 days in the making, so I’ve had much time to let this sink in,” Li also listed a number of stats during his epic run at the online poker tables:
- SNGs played: 14,183, Avg ROI: 0%
- # of days played: 50 out of 59 (84.75%)
- # of days >25,000 VPP: 13
- # of days >10,000 VPP: 48
- VPPs in Jan (including 50k WSOP bonus): 398,682
- VPPs in Feb: 602,086
- VPP Milestones achieved in February: 6
- Lowest VPP session: 7,326 on Jan 1st (lol lazy)
- Highest VPP session: 35,167 on Feb 18th
- VPPs in last 15 days: 425,954 (28,397/day)
- Top 3 profit days: +12,732, +9,880, +8,444
- Top 3 loss days: -17,511, -12,860, -9,414
- Left-mouse clicks in 2011: 1,172,167
So, even though Li was unable to turn a profit (0% ROI) he did reach the 1,000,000 VPP milestone which will net him $20,000 and only cost him 1 VPP! So what to do with the remaining millions of FPP’s azntracker has earned? Maybe get seven Mac Books for 1 million FPP’s, or hold out for the Porsche Caymen which is available at 3,000,000 FPP’s.
