It’s that time again – the 42nd annual World Series of Poker at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino begins today with the first two of 58 bracelet events starting tonight; the $500 Casino Employees’ Event is the traditional start but alongside that we have the inaugural $25,000 Heads-Up NL Championship.
This year is the first that 55 bracelet events will be streamed live on WSOP with a five minute delay; furthermore when ites to the Main Event ESPN will be showing live coverage with hole cards on a 30m delay for Day 3 to the final table. You can catch all the $10,000 Championship events including PLO, PLHE, 2-7 Draw, Omaha 8, all Stud variants and of course the $50,000 Players’ Championship.Field size predictions have been the in-thing this year, particularly post-Black Friday with many guesses as to Main Event numbers around the 4,000 mark. As for the smaller preliminary events, we’ll have to wait and see. TAGS: WSOP, World Series of Poker, $25k Heads Up Championship
